Who reads The Golf Almanac?

Country club members and their guests, affluent households in your local market who are hard to reach any other way. They find the magazine in the pro shop and the clubhouse and pick it up between rounds. In an age of endless screens, this is an audience that still values something printed and well made, read at a relaxed pace, the way print is enjoying a real comeback.

How long has The Golf Almanac been around?

Over twenty years. In that time we have earned the endorsement of two past PGA Presidents and many PGA professionals nationwide.

How many clubs does The Golf Almanac reach each year?

We distribute to over 1,800 country clubs across the U.S. each year. Each market is generally made up of about five clubs.

Is the publication available online?

Yes. Every printed edition has a QR code on the cover that links to the digital version, plus a typed link on the Contents page. You are welcome to share that link on your own social media.

How does advertising work?

You reserve a spot for the year. Your ad appears in print and online, and stays in front of members for all twelve months.

I already advertise online. Why print?

Digital is everywhere, which is exactly why print stands out again. People are tired of the scroll, and there is something an affluent audience trusts about a magazine they can hold. The Golf Almanac lives in the pro shop and the clubhouse, picked up between rounds and read at a relaxed pace, with your ad in good company rather than competing with a feed. Online gets you reach. Print earns you attention and credibility. The strongest advertisers use both.

How do I know members actually read it?

The Golf Almanac is a real magazine, with PGA-authored articles, player profiles and golf and lifestyle content people genuinely enjoy. It lives where members already spend their time, between rounds and around the clubhouse. The best proof is our renewal rate. About eighty percent of advertisers come back year after year, which they would not do if it did not work.

Is my ad exclusive, or will competitors be next to me?

We keep the number of businesses in each category limited at every club. That means your ad is not crowded in beside a stack of competitors. Category space is limited by design, which is part of what makes the placement worth having.

Can I choose which market or clubs I am in?

Markets are generally built around five clubs each. When we talk, we will walk through which market fits your business and what is open, so your ad reaches the area and the audience that make the most sense for you.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on the ad size and placement, and it is a one-time fee for the full year that includes design. Reach out and we will walk you through the options for your market.

What happens when my twelve months are up?

Most advertisers renew. We will reach out before your term ends to talk through the next edition, so there is no gap in your presence. There is no obligation to continue, but the majority of our advertisers choose to.

Design

We build the ad. You don't need artwork.

Do you design the ad for me?

Yes, at no additional cost. Send us a description, photos, a logo or just your website and social media, and our design team will build it for you. Most ads are ready within twenty-four hours, and the full turnaround is one to three business days.

Can I use the ad you design elsewhere?

Yes. On request we will send you a full-resolution copy of your finished ad to use anywhere you like.

What if I've never advertised in print before?

That's common, and it's why we handle the design and walk you through everything. You don't need to prepare artwork or know the specs. Tell us about your business and we take it from there.

Logistics

Timing, delivery and payment.

Do I get a copy of the printed publication?

Yes. You will be mailed a hard copy during the initial distribution.

How long will my advertisement run?

Your ad runs for twelve months. That term begins once the pro shops confirm they have received the books, not on the day you purchase, so your full year of presence is protected.

When will my ad appear?

Once your market's edition is printed and the pro shops confirm receipt, your twelve months begin and you'll be mailed your copy. Editions are distributed on a rolling basis, so timing depends on your market.

How can I pay for my ad?

You can pay over the phone with your sales rep, or use the secure online portal. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, plus physical checks, digital checks and checks by phone.
